We Have A “Patience First” Philosophy

At The Fresh Pet Parlor, we believe that every dog deserves to feel safe and respected, regardless of their temperament. We have built our reputation on being the “calm in the storm” for dogs that others might find challenging. Whether your pup is a nervous senior, a high-energy rescue, or has been turned away by other groomers for being “difficult,” they have a home with us.

We don’t believe in rushing. Our approach is rooted in gentle, low-stress handling and reading your dog’s body language. We take the extra time to build trust—using breaks, positive reinforcement, and a quiet environment to ensure your dog leaves us feeling better than when they arrived. To us, a “difficult” dog isn’t a burden; they are a soul that just needs a little more time, a softer voice, and a whole lot of patience.

Price Chart

The prices below are for a full groom unless otherwise specified. A full groom includes:

• Warm bath, shampoo’d twice and conditioned.
• Ears cleaned.
• Teeth brushed (If your pet co-operates to some extent).
• Nails trimmed and pad hair trimmed.
• Blow dry.
• Meticulous brush-out.

Nail Trimming Only: $15 for the first dog and $10 for every dog after that.

Add an additional $5 or $10 (according to size) if there will be fur cutting involved (pads of feet don’t apply).

• Heavy matting will incur a further charge of $15 – $20
• Aggressive or difficult to handle dogs may incur a fee of up to $20

At Fresh Pet Parlor, my goal is simple: I want you to look at your pups and smile every time they walk back into the house. While I strive for perfection, I know that sometimes a clip might need a little extra ‘fine-tuning’ to get it exactly the way you like it.

Our ‘Happy Tail’ Guarantee: If you aren’t 100% satisfied with the groom, just pick up the phone and call me. I will come back and fix it right away at no extra charge. We’ve been a part of this community since 2012, and your happiness is my top priority. You have a full two weeks from your appointment date to let us know if something isn’t right. We aren’t perfect—though we’re pretty close!—and we’ll always go the extra mile to make it right.”
